Very handy for carrying everything - ipod, camera, keeys, phone etc.
Some of the zips seem stiff and I'd be concerned about accidently tearing them away from the material. The fleece material itself doesn't appear to be the best quality, although I haven't yet washed it, it does appear to look like the type of material that will lose its "smoothness" and collect in peaks once washed thereby losing some of its heat retention qualities. The inside of the fleece has the "wavy" look that has indicated (in my experience) fleece that will do that. The quantum jacket has one interior pocket that pulled away from the lining where the stitching wasn't quite perfect, but a dab of superglue fixed that. I'd also like to see more stitched entrance portals to the PAN in and around the clear touch pockets as I use earphones that have extension cables and a handsfree inline control panel (blueye) and its hard to manipulate all the a cables (another portal at the bottom of the clear touch pocket would be best!)
I'd also like to see the double seam pocket on both sides of the fleece jacket. Finally, I'd like the collar to be wider so that you can have the option of wearing it folded down as well as up.
That said I LOVE my 2 jackets and wear them constantly. We had the first snow in a decade in Dublin 2 weeks ago and the 2 jackets kept me warm and dry. the ergonomic grips are very handy even with gloves on, and I used the jacket with my camelbak in it last weekend with immense satisfaction. The removable sleeves on the fleece are perfect and the tags noting left and right are especially useful. The jacket is the appropriately waterproofed and has kept me dry in conditons ranging from drizzle to snow to pouring rain
The only reason it gets 4 and not 5 is because of the fleece material quality -I would give 4.5 out of 5 if I could.
i would also liekt o ahve the chance to re-rate the product further down the linw once I have owned it and used it for a period of time
